Thanks for the heads-up Bill,
I was just about to import my Makrothen log into DXBase 2004 when your
message arrived. Sure enough the GRID: field was ignored by this programme
as well.
As you pointed out, not a big deal, 'Search and Replace' that is found in
most any text editor will make quick work of changing the ADIF file from
WriteLog.
Many thanks for your 'kilometres' Bill,
73 Eric - VE3GSI.

-> Subject: [WriteLog] Makrothen ADIF bug
->
-> The Makrothen contest is not exporting ADIF file information
-> correctly.
-> Specifically, the grid square info should be in the form of
-> <GRIDSQUARE:4>DM14 but it has the word "GRID" instead of
-> "GRIDSQUARE".
-> Because of this, the file may not import the grid squares into your
-> logging program. DXKeeper, for one, rejects it.
->
-> For those interested, the ADIF spec is at
-> www.hosenose.com/adif/adif.html
->
-> I don't know whether the problem is in the Makrothen module or in
-> WriteLog itself, but it needs to be fixed. In the meantime,
-> you can do
-> a search and replace using any text editor.
