Yes, Whitey, K1VV wrote a procedure he used to record, edit, and time
"squeeze" wav files for contest use with WriteLog. Several people have
tried it with some success. The results reflect the amount of time you
would be willing to put into the editing process. I thought I had seen it
on the K9JY web site but I didn't find it just now. It was in a YCCC
publication.
I see an email address for K1VV on QRZ.com. I believe it is current.
