Yup. But as a Voiceover artist, I've done as many as 2,500 sound "bytes"
in one session. I can do 30+ callsigns per minute recording, however the
quick editing will take a tad longer for each :-) A major key in all this
is the quality of recording AND the editing/tweaking (EQ, Compression,
etc. for maximum consistency with non-distorted PUNCH!

One must amortize the potential benefits out over "X" number of Contests
(times) "X" number of years...plus an adjustment for periodic
updating/recording of added callsigns. The lessened fatigue factor and
ability to maintain a hi-energy level with the same "voice" are real
strong motivators.
This isn't for everyone, but providing the capability for those of us who
are interested in going this route, it wouldn't take a lot of programming
changes.
