Updating the country info is pretty straightforward....as long as you know
one subtle thing. The cty file MUST be in the \HAM\PROGRAMS directory. If you
download it somewhere else, the conversion program (ReadCTY) will not know
where to find it. There is a browz box that will allow you to find the file in
any directory. It is titled "Convert alternative prefix database...".
IMHO, the developer should make it really clear in the app where it will
default to find the cty file, but he doesn't.
I got snake bit by this several times before I emblazoned it into my brain.
