I have to admit, that I did not realise that such cards existed either. They
were exactly what I thought should have beenmade, but my internet searches
only ever found the USB types, of which I have a few.
They look like they will work for FSK on a serial port, which is my
preferred way of doing things with the laptop. At the moment I am forced to
AFSK, which does not seem to work as well in terms of the receive.
While I can select the narrow filters, they affect the actual signal seeming
to clip it somewhat -- I suppose I'd have to use an RIT offset??
Thanks to Doug and the others who pointed me in the right direction.
