After following this thread with interest, I downloaded the Goldwave
shareware demo in its new version 5.06 last night, and did some recording
from my Heil GM-4 in both of its positions for comparison. Using the TX
Monitor output from a Kenwood TS-2K to drive a Creative Live 512 card.
Very nice playback results via WriteLog. Sure appreciate the tip, and I'll
be registering Goldwave soon. Excellent software for many purposes.
