Reinstalling the operating system seems a drastic step to fix a problem
as you lose everything on the hard drive and then you have to reinstall
all the software. Maybe going back to an earlier (that worked) release
of Writelog would have been better. Seems there is contention between
microsoft and application software
not just writelog.
