With regard to RFI in Networking: I found it took four snap-on ferrites on the LAN cable to eliminate rfi into my IBM Notebook, and the LAN cable was the sole source of the rfi - no rfi with all of the other cables (COM, LPT, power). External Keyboard or External Monitor cables can also be an rfi source, but that's why I went to a notebook, to eliminate those cables.
