Jim,
Their weak signal in most of the SE USA on 20, 17, 15, 12, and 10 is
because they are only running 100 watts (no amps not enough power) and a
MA5B fixed North so most of the SE USA is off the side of the beam.
Guess you guys and the W8's are not in the deep side null. A have a
nearby ham who has the MA5B and his works very well and it acts like a
real beam abet a short load one. Today there is no chance as the bands
above 20 have been dead all day except for a few weak Americas on 17. No
storms but the R index is 93.
Eddie with WT4I tools has been helping me with the CQ 160 logs. You
would not believe the so called cabrillo logs I get even from say some of
the converters.
