I am trying to get WL(latest version) to interface with my IC-706mkIIg. It
works to a point.

I used the civ_commander program to get the address and baud rate working.
It will read the freq with this program.

When I use WL, I can use the "logging/duping freq for the current entry
window" to set the freq/mode. It show in the "button" for an instant before
"16314MHz" shows for any 20m freq. Note the "14" is the "14" of 14.069.052
display
freq on the radio.

The "Band Map Window" shows "16314070" as one of the markers.

If I use the civ_commander program to read the freq it comes back with:
FE FE E0 58 03 52 90 06 14 FD
(as it should - per the icom manual) I don't see where the "163" is comming
from.

Is anyone using a ci-v interface with an ic-706?

I am sure glad I didn't pay $130 for the icom version of the interface to
find I can't use it to control the PTT via the interface for RTTY (icom's
doesn't
control the ptt via the serial interface) and now not even be able to read
the freq for SSB logging!
