Don Hill and other 2 computer users,
I just got two computers networked running a radio each. But ----
Radio A and its computer log had 8 contacts in it. Radio T when I was
checking out the FSK I made a qso so its log had one contact. When I
networked the two, the logs merged as expected with indication of which
computer had made the qso. But then the qsos got mirrored back to each log
except that the radio making the qso was changed so I now have two logs on
each computer with half the qso repeated and marked as dupes. So instead of
9 entries, I have 17 entries.
I actually linked from Radio A to Radio T. The first part of the log at
Radio T is correct - it has the 1 qso that radio T had made and then it got
the eight qso from Radio A. But these eight qso are then sent back to Radio
A as if Radio T had made them, that is the NETW field has T in it.
This is not what I was expecting. What am I doing wrong????
I thought we just had a email thread (although I can't find it) that said
Writelog keep the logs fine with the two computer, two radio setup.
