For what it's worth, I believe this goes beyond the FT-920, I once
accidently didn't have my FT1000D in VFO mode and I had a whole string of
the same frequency before I caught it. I wouldnt be surprised if the MP does
the same. My recommendation is don't try the memory during a contest.
