Hi Al et al,
Gil has already provided the link to example buffers on my WriteLog website.
Thanks Gil. Here is something else that may or may not help. After the 2001
ARRL RTTY Roundup, I wrote about it and place the story on my AA5AU
website. It's at http://www.aa5au.com/arrlru01.html.
This is from a single operator SO2R standpoint. Although a good outline to how
I
worked the contest that year, personally, I probably be thinking about what
happened that year, but I have a feeling 40M is going to be an important band
by how my TARA results were a couple weeks ago. It will all depend on whether
10 or 15 meters will be any good. In the past couple of years, 15 meters was
the
most important band, with 10M being great in 2001 and not so great last year.
My
2001 Low Power score is still the world record.
I've seen years where I had more QSO's on 40M than any other band, but I
don't think that's going to happen this year. It could be that 20M will be the
most important band. You just never really know which is a fun part about it.
73 & GL. Let me know if you have any specific questions. I've operated in all
14 of the previous Roundups. It's my favorite contest of the year, although
CQWW
RTTY last year was probably, personally, my best contest ever in any mode.
Happy Holidays,
Don AA5AU
