One approach is to use the WT4I Tools (see the www.writelog.com website to
obtain them). The toolset contains a program that
will merge Cabrillo files. If your friend really insists on using NA and WL
for the same contest, he should be able to get a
complete log to submit with the WT4I Cabrillo Merge.
But... it does sound like a very bizarre way of operating the contest!

Subject: [WriteLog] NA and Writelog log merging
In the upcoming 10 meter contest, I have a friend who is going to run mixed
mode, ssb and cw, and wants to use (because he's comfortable I guess) NA for
his cw radio and separate computer, and Writelog for his SSB radio and
computer. I've tested the ADIF output from Sweeps CW that he ran with NA,
and have imported it into Writelog, however most of the important
information is missing, such as precedence and check (both columns are
either empty or contain a ? ).
Question is this. If he runs CW on NA and SSB on Writelog, is there a way
to combine these logs or import one into the other, other then what appears
to be an inferior adif import, or should I have him just turn in 2 separate
logs? The exchange doesn't include a serial number, just state and signal
report, so there's no need for coordination of the serial number between the
two programs.
Thanks
Charlie
