Thanks to all who made numerous suggestions. It turns out that a mic pre-amplifier solved the low drive problem (actually the mic input on one card was defective and used the line in). I built up an op-amp for this purpose. An adjustable 10-100:1 attenuator was added to the output of the isolation transformer. See suggested circuit in various help files. 73, Jack, W3TMZ  |
