I know that when you download a new wl_cty.dat file you must run the CONVERSION program from the Writelog Programs. I'm just curious what: Adjacent prefixes coalesced Redundant branches eliminated etc. mean. Even on my rather quick 1.6mHz machine this takes quite a while. So I'm just curious as to what this process is doing. ----------------------------------------------------- Why do psychics have to ask you for your name? ----------------------------------------------------- Bill H. in Chicagoland w9ol@billnjudy.com www.billnjudy.com http://files.billnjudy.com |
