Hi Kostas,
I'd like to know as well. I was one who did a thorough beta test of the
module for WRTC. I had set myself up as an OJ station (it's the only way I
can make it to WRTC!) and ran last year's IARU contest log through the new
module. I validated WRTC rules (not IARU rules...) for points to EU, outside
EU, a single point for HQ stations, and a couple of other small things such
as in their rules an HQ station can count for an HQ station as well as a
country. I did not check for /MM (there were some in the contest). I also
used the latest CTY file for WriteLog. It was a flawless module.
The only caveat I can think of is that I did not check HQ stations for text
validation. WriteLog sees text and counts it as a multiplier. I don't know
if 'ARRL' and a mis-typed 'ARRK' for ARRL would count it as two HQ
multipliers or not.
Thanks...Scot, K9JY

Subject: [WriteLog] writelog problems?
Bernie W3UR in his daily dx wrote for the wrtc 2002 :
"At one point the Scoreboard reported the N6TJ and N6AA team as the winner,
however the TR logging program inflated their score. The German team also
has some minor deductions due to their logging
program Writelog."
Anyone knows what problem there was in writelog?
