Hi Barry,

I have the exact same setup as you - XP home and Win98SE. I found on the
Win98SE computer that I had to have a user name and password (but,
interestingly, not on the XP Home version...) for it to work. I also have to
input it (a dialog box comes up from Windows) into the system again when the
PC connects to the WriteLog network (i.e., XP connects to 98 and the 98
machine asks for user name and password).

This is the single biggest startup issue with the NT/XP operating systems -
getting the naming conventions right in Windows.

Paul,
You mean each computer has to have the same user name? If so, isn't
there a simpler way to rename it (like editing the registry), or create a
new user with the same name?
