[WriteLog] DX spots problem

OK, folks, I'm real new to this WriteLog and have downloaded the latest
version (10.31c). I am have trouble with the Telnet DX spots; the spots
do not transfer down to writelog or the bandmap.

I get connected via telnet to a site OK and can see spots and send spots
in the Telnet window. Until recently, it all worked as advertised; i.e.
got the spots to WL and to the band map. But, apparently something has
changed... 

Can anyone suggest how to debug this?
