Don't fall into the two hop trap using F12. Suppose you are "Running" on
14020. you see a packet spot on the band map for RA1DX on 14054 you click
on his call and the radio QSY's to 14054, you dump your call in and work
him. If you now press F12 you indeed will return to 14020, but if instead
you now see the spot XW0X on 14051 and you click on him first and work him
now pressing F12 returns you to RA1DX's freq on 14054 not your run freq on
14020
What would be really useful is a way to mark the run frequency in the band
map so that it cant be overwritten by another call perhaps even in
a different color would be cool. That way if you run off to work TWO mults
then clicking on RUN in the band map would bring you back to the your run
freq. I know you can just store the run freq in the radios memory but this
goes back to high speed CW contesting. I want to touch the radio as little
as possible and do as much from the keyboard as possible. It's faster ,
less confusing especially when you start talking 2RSO operating.
