I decided to finally build another interface for FSK so I could
have dual transmit & receive on my B radio for WPX. I will be
using MMTTY as my main RTTY engine on both radio/computers
now.
However, on my Win98 machine I get a "beep" every time I key
and unkey the radio. It's quite annoying. I don't have this on my
Win95 machine using the exact same setup. I checked to make
sure I had NO SOUNDS and the default sound set to silence.wav
file. I turned all the sound down on the control panel. I have no
idea why it beeps. I checked the options in the MMTTY plug-in and
I just can't figure it out.
It doesn't beep when I key my DXP38 either only with the MMTTY
plug-in on my Win98 machine.
Any clues? I don't really want to listen to this damn beep for a whole
contest of the radio keying and unkeying.
