Not sure of the context of your question, but maybe this will help.

Whenever focus changes from some other window to the WL main window, the
insertion point goes to the callsign entry field of the WL main window.
This means that if the band map or some other program currently has the
focus, you can use ALT TAB to move to WL and the insertion point will move
to the callsign field even if the insertion point was at some other spot in
WL e.g. the edit window.

If WL main window has the focus and the insertion point is not at the
callsign entry field, you apparently must use the mouse or use ALT TAB to
select another window and then do it again to select WL (sort of proving
that you're not using the mouse <gr>).
