[WriteLog] Bug?

Today, brought up WL, after a break from the 10m contest, and a little 
window popped up, titled Writelog, with a bunch of ??? in it. Clicked 
OK, had to do this a few times, and things worked OK except nothing 
was going in the bandmap. Tried exiting and restarting WL and 
happened again. Shut down machine, restarted and all OK.
Pilot error or bug?
