[WriteLog] wav format incompatible???

Tis question may be a variation on the incompatibility of wav files.  Not 
sure.  I've converted a message to the same wav file properties as my 
alphabet and numerals, but when I try to give the serial number with the      
 %n    command  
I get both the serial number and "n" recording instead of just the serial 
number.
