I agree that if you have a PK232 that you might wish to use it except that 
FSK is really an ancient form of connection. With FSK you cannot use the 
easy click on the waterfall and the easy AFC and such.
I also agree that the RITTY is not very good at all.

I do not think it is worth buying a 232 if you do not have one. I don't 
think ANY TNC is wroth the money because they can't all get together and 
cross license the TOR modes. For that reason I will never buy a TNC again.
