The Tools|Recover Windows Layout allows the user to select a window layout
from a previously saved contest and have the window layout look like that
contest. It can't be the same file you are currently using since it's
already in use. This is also covered starting in the second line of my
'WriteLog Windows' 'Arranging Windows' section of my web site. If you want
to know how most of the windows in WriteLog behave, that's a good place to
look.

What does Recover Window Layou under tools menu do. It is not in the
help file. I printed the whole pdf, man 329 pages!
I hoped it would recover the exact layout of windows after allowing you
to save them.
