Windows 2000 is (or was) a version of NT. The Microsoft plan was to merge NT and W9X into one product with 2000. I would treat it the same as NT in setting up writelog and interfacing. Some ISP's don't support NT so check with them (Earthlink mindspring users especially) before using 2000. Networking with NT is certainly an easier task than W9X and leagues ahead of DOS. 73 Dave K4JRB |
