Hi, I had a good experience. Just tested yesturday a USB-
Seriell converter for my Notebook, and this is running perfect
with my FT1000. installation in Win98 vy fast and easy.
The computer automaticly identified this device as COM3.
Writelog had no trouble to use this COM as radioport.
You can set some parameters like baudrate etc..this device 
dont need any interrupt. 
Only bad thing, this is not running in DOS..(Dos dont know
USB, hi..)
