Well...I can't resist this one.
As Roger puts it about so many items being "off topic". Isn't that kind of
what we see here, and on many other reflectors....Scores, setting up teams,
belabored discussions about what list should or shouldn't have the scores
on it, how many posts you have to wade through.
Gee, I think that I could find over 50% or more (I suspect I am being kind
at 50%) of the posts on this reflector that usually have little or no
direct input to Writelog itself. Not to say that we need a different
reflector for every discussion line but....this reflector is, for example
and IMHO, worse than 3830 every thought of being....and I had to pay to buy
Writelog for the priviledge of all this spam (again IMHO) but that is what
they make the delete key and rules for. By and large 3830 is just Scores,
even after a contest. Thanks to Dink and his efforts, the titles are pretty
consistant and it is very easy to peruse, whether through the web page or
the inbox.
Just my $.02.

That gets quite cumbersome when you get an average of 150 messages per day,
with
some days exceeding 200 messages and 50 to 80 are of off topic
subjects! -=Rog-K9RB=-
