Hello,
At the risk of feeling foolish again, believe WL is working the way it
should. Solution: have the radio control and packet using the two serial
ports, Comm 2 & 3, on the PCI to Serial card.
In getting to that point, also reset the working motherboard comm port and
now it is Comm 6. Gonna try to put either the radio or packet on Comm 6
and see what happens - maybe tomorrow.
Since finding this "fix", WL has been started several times and used for a
couple of QSOs on RTTY using RITTY. Will keep working with it as would
like to find out if there are other things lurking out there before finding
them in a contest.
