Thanks to all that reminded me about how to reinstall Windows 98. I
appreciate your help. I booted
up with my Win 98 startup disk which gives me CDROM support so I can run
setup from the Win 98 CD. I am now running setup.
George W1ZT-I have only the original version of Windows 98. But I had
downloaded the Microsoft latest update for Win 98. Isn't that the same as
Windows 98SE? If not, I sure would like to accept your offer to send me Win
98SE CDs if it will give me a more stable OS. My address here is:

For those who asked what my location here in DU is-PK04HN-25 miles due west
of Manila on the western side of Manila Bay. I am far from Legaspi. It is
located in the southern Visayas which is the large group of small islands
between the big islands of Luzon and Mindanao.
I retired from an engineering position with the US Navy in Arlington, VA in
1990. I moved here in 1991 at Easter time. Been here 10 years now. Love the
WX and DX. Plan to stay.
