[WriteLog] Audio recording questions

When I recorded my audio from CQWW CW, while xmitting, the 
recording just had dead silence.
Is there a way to get the sidetone of what I xmit recorded as well? 
If not, is there a way to supress the recording during xmit (like a 
VOX)?
