Now I think we are on to something.
I noticed the same issue with the 756PRO. The mode would change for a short
time.
I believe the time is the time bewtween radio polls, which here are set to
1/2 second.
you can cahnge the duration and make the problem longer to trouble shoot.
While I did not log any Q's in those time windows, what I did notice is that
if I
hit an "F" key at that time, I got a voice message from the computer speaker
rather tahn a CW reply message I was expecting.
Maybe WL assumes that some CW ops can copy SSB better than CW
( sorry, I am tired !! bad joke )
So, I don't think it's the 570. Something is getting bad freq and/or mode
from the radio for one poll
duration.
Said differently, Wayne has another "feature" to consider. ( aka Bug )
