Hi Bruce,
The amount of time used to resend the whole call as opposed to
a fragment of the callsign is miniscule. Sending the complete call
will avoid any confusion. Better to avoid any confusion on the first
try than to have the person at the other end not log you or ask you
again if you got his call correct. Now, THAT, will really slow you
down.
