I've run into a problem using the RTTY functions of Writelog with two
sound cards installed on the system. Everything works fine with the DVK
under this arrangement. That is, the primary (preferred) sound card deals
with normal computer sounds (dings and other things), while the secondary
card deals with the Writelog functions. I can record received audio onto wav
files and play wav file messages through the secondary card when I set the
writelog.ini soundboardindex variable to 1. Everything works as expected.
However, with the RTTY window enabled, I can decode incoming audio, but
there is no outgoing audio (RTTY or PSK). When I set everything to go
through just one sound card (and reset the soundboardindex to 0), the
outgoing RTTY audio works as expected. It's only when trying to use two
sound cards that the outgoing RTTY signal is missing.
Is there a problem with the soundboardindex working properly under RTTY
when two sound cards are installed? Has anyone else noticed the same
problem?
