Marty suggested checking the PORTS SETUP settings - Good idea, but that
wasn't it, and it WAS working fine until the middle of one exchange...
Only happens on the Icom 706 / DXP38 combination. The other radio and
soundcard setup still work OK with the F keys.
ONLY the ICOM/DXP38 does the same thing with the F keys every time -
sends the callsign in BLUE, then a CR/LF that's not in the buffer, then
about half the buffer that echoes in BLACK on the screen, then it hangs
in the middle until I press ESC.
Anyone else have any ideas? I'd much rather be CQing with no answer on
2 bands than CQing with no answer on ONE band! HI HI

I haven't lost my mind - it's backed up on disk somewhere!
