John,
I don't have any ideas, but have had the following:
1) Sound mixer gets out of sync with the hardware, i.e. mic is muted and no
.wav files can be transmitted. Exercising the mic mute on the mixer fixes
it.
2) Related, but more severe, no mic echo and no .wav files. Relaunching WL
won't do it, it takes a power down reboot.
Both of the above are with ISA SB-16 cards. The third staqtion is an Ensoniq
PCI and that has never done it.
Two possibilities seem to be heavy network traffic ( logging three stations
at high Q rates ) or possible RF getting into the computer hardware and
mising up hardware states.
Never fixed it, but bought more Ensoniq cards !!
