I usually miss the 6m and 902 & Up Sprints because they fall on the weekends
where I have other things to do. But this time I planned on being on 1296
for the 902 & Up contest. All I can say is WHAT A WASTE OF A GOOD
SATURDAY MORNING.

Propagation to my northeast and north (where everyone is) did not exist. I
heard exactly 1 NE station at 170 miles and I couldn't be heard because of
radar interference. I did work N8LRG in OH at 292 miles. Great signals
both ways. I also worked a few locals at 30 to 65 miles distance and
nothing else. What promised to be a decent day on 23cm turned out to be a
huge disappointment.
