Hi VHFers

I looked at the Hepburn map and things looks bleak for Mumbo Jumbo Land as  chains of t-storms will be aligned NE-SW extending down to the mid Atlantic states from me, and that means very unstable conditions. If you can believe the map, stations along the MA CT coast will avoid the unsettled area.  There is a weather advisory for scattered strong T storms up here. My plan is to get on at about 22:45 UT and see how long I can hold out. Last week there was some tropo around the thunderstorms if you were in the right spot. Last week I was lucky. This time, it may not be very good here at all, but that does not mean I won't try some contacts. Last week the activity level was up a bit and I had contact totals in the mid 20's. I think WZ1V also had a great night.   Don't forget to check in to the ON4KST Chat page. Use 144/432 Region 2 Chat when you go to that website.

Don't forget the NEWS Picnic this coming Saturday.
