Contestants-

When/if you start experiencing a lot of broken Qs due to the infamous “one
sequence and they’re gone” QSB, I’ve had a lot of luck switching from FT8
over to FT4….
During one particularly bad day of 6m deep QSB my completion rate went from
less than 50% on FT8 to over 80% on FT4.

Personally, when the band is open I’d prefer to go to SSB, however due to
hearing issues and the fact I work remote a LOT, the digital modes are more
practical for me.

HOPEFULLY we’ll see an increase in FT4 use for this weekend’s contest.

My .02, FWIW, YMMV,
