I am making an attempt at 222 activity tonight. It is about 16f and real
high winds. I am not sure the diesel genset will start. I really need
heat in the shack, so will look into another propane vented heater for
the microwave and 222 shack. Its a wonder the stuff works with no heat
up there! I am using an industrial computer with a SSD. So far it has
been OK, but tonite is rather brutal with the winds. If I show up, it
worked. If I am absent, the generator would not start. The diesel has no
pre heat function.
There should be some EME activity all evenin and well after the 0100 UT
time frame.
