Another 222 Activity night is in the bag! I managed to drive up to the shack in style. It went up early as the Moon was setting right around 00:00 UT, and KA6U had mentioned that he would be on testing his new 222 MHz rover setup. K3SK was also QRV and N0AKC and W5ZN showed up as well for KA6U.  WOuldn't you know but Peter was late and missed his best time when the TV station RFI is not bad.  We almost made a contact, but the TV stations in Tampa wiped us out!!  The good news was that K3SK made his first 222 EME contact.  Here is a summary of the activity from up here in the Pine Tree State.  22 stations worked on 222.

It started snowing about 00:30 and there was a nice coating on the ground when I drove home around 0200 UT.   On Wednesday night we are expecting a foot of snow. Probably no 222 nite for me next week.  The first two weeks in March I am away and not able to be on for the Tuesday evening fun. I shpuld be QRV on March 21.   I am glad that I was able to catch many evenings this winter.
