Good day every one. I am expecting to rove again this weekend. Saturday
looks a little cold but both days are expected to be mostly snow free. I will
be taking all bands from 50 MHz to 10 GHz. I am attempting to spend a little
more time closer to home to allow me more time chasing locals and to reduce the
amount of transit time.
My preferred modes are SSB/CW but will support FM on all bands. I will run FT8
on the bottom four when needed and will likely leave a rig on 50.313 if there
is no E-skip or AU, it could happen. I will monitor 146.55 as much as
practical. Requests for other bands are always welcome. I will try to use and
monitor the TX5 message in FT8.
I accept skeds, please e-mail ve3oil@yahoo.ca and I will return a list of
suggestions. Bobo, I say this every century but I will spend more time calling
CQ this time. The Sked frequency will be 144.237. I will call CQ either on
237 or in the immediate vicinity of 200 as conditions warrant.
My cell, 289 775 9203, is available for texts during the contest.
