Greetings all,
For many years, Bernie was a rock star on VHF from Yarmouth.
I had spoken to him a few years ago, and he was always battling the weather
with antennas.
I have fond memories of QSOs with that big signal.
Rest Well, Bernie! Great DX my friend.

Via VE1GM, VE1RV and VE1JBL,
Dave Vail VE1GM contacted Roger Belliveau VE1RV today to give him the sad
news about Bernie. No obituary at this time. Roger will have a moment of
silence on the Old Times Club net Sunday morning. I assume there will be a
minute of silence tonight (Saturday) on the Maritime Net.
Bernie's wife Veralyn (VE1VAR} noted: We are having a private family
graveside service for him at the little Tusket Lakes Cemetery in front if
the farm in the spring
