Comments:
Conditions ranged between terrible during the day on Saturday
to quite good late Saturday night and Sunday morning. Activity
however quickly plummeted on Sunday. Had some nice contacts
out to VE3ZV EN92 on 222, and did well on 1296 up to N1JEZ FN44,
W1AIM FN34, down to K1RZ and W3IP FM19 and K3MD FN10 to the west.
Didn't make a lot of FT8 contacts, quite a few had the contest mode
wrong or just couldn't decode the Euro 6 digit grid report.
My brand new 432 LDMOS amplifier suddenly died Sunday morning
and had to take time off to swap it out with the old tube amp.
This is the third major strike by Murphy here in less than a month.
Getting way too old for all this fun !
