The hepburn forecast looks very promising Saturday morning between 2AM
and 8AM. I plan on being on the air by about 6AM and working 2m as long
as it stays open. I will start in your direction. Look for me in EM73ut
if you're around. I have only worked GA, AL and SC on 2m so far so any
grids you can offer in your area are greatly appreciated.

Subject: [VHFcontesting] Anyone need EM87 on 6m or 2m?
Folks,
After a little "prodding" from a local ham, I'm contemplating a
portable
operation from EM87 in the CQ VHF contest coming up. EM87 appears to
be a
much needed grid and It's been 35 years since I was there last, back
when
we first went to grid squares I was there for a 6m sprint as WD8ISK.
I will
have a kw on both bands and will operate SSB, CW and digital.
Let me know if you are interested and please pass this on to your
respective groups that I might not be a member of.
