Hello CSVHFS Members, other VHFer’s

As was announced last year, the dates for the Central States VHF Society’s
annual States Above 50 MHz program was moved a month earlier to start on June
1, 2019 and end on May 31, 2020 which is this weekend. This was implemented to
reduce the ‘last minute rush’ to compile the results in time for announcement
at the society’s annual conference which, unfortunately, has been cancelled for
2020. Even though the results can’t be announced at the conference, they will
still be compiled with certificates and plaques mailed by the end of July, as
they would have been had the conference not been cancelled.

So, what are the submission deadlines for 2020?

• If you are submitting your entry via ‘snail-mail’, it must be
postmarked by June 14th, but, since the 14th is a Sunday in 2020, June 15th is
acceptable.

• If you are e-mailing your entry, it must be received by June 21st.

"New" for this year's program is a Google Spreadsheet where calls that submit
their States Above documentation will be listed.

This will NOT be 'automatically' updated so please allow a day or two before
panicking that your call is not there and you have submitted. The plan is to
have the final list ready by the end of the day on June 23rd (two days after
the e-mail submission deadline and 8 days after the postmark deadline) and
another announcement will be sent at that time for one 'final' check.

Thanks again, any questions feel free to email me.
