Unfortunately, the Prefix/Suffix thing for operating in other countries is not consistent. I've operated from other countries and I've always followed what was listed on my reciprocal license, resulting in a mix of prefixes/suffixes:
K0NR/C6A, PJ4/K0NR, K0NR/HI, K0NR/HR9
It would seem that "the right way" to do this is by adding in a Prefix, but not all regulatory authorities prescribe this.

It would seem that N1MM+ is designed for HF contesters by HF contesters. :-)

The N1MM+ Team states that the R is PREFIX for Russia and I totally agree but every Rover in the USA and Canada (maybe other countries too) use the/R as a SUFFIX. I believe that in virtually every country except Canada (due to a special 1952 reciprocal agreement), a USA operator operating in Russia would sign with the PREFIX “R/” followed by HISCALL (Not with the suffix /R).
