Oops, I didn't realize how tired I was last night when I sent my e-mail.

Here is what I meant to say . . .

I recommend wiring your tower antennas so you can simultaneously use two or 
more antennas.

If you would like to get on the satellites you need to listen for yourself in 
the satellite downlink (frequency) transponder passband while transmitting on 
an uplink frequency to confirm you are getting into the satellite. (Most Low 
Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite passes are less than 45 degrees, and the low angle 
passes give the best opportunities for working long distances)

For the ARRL VHF contests, you could maintain communications on 2M with the 
other contest station while you are both attempting to make contact on 220, 432 
and 1296.

If you would ever like to work satellites, you need full duplex so you need to 
hear yourself, so you must simultaneously listen on one band while transmitting 
on another band.

And, for the ARRL VHF contests, if would be nice to be able to keep a 2M link 
open with another contest station while you are both QSYing to 222, 432 and 
1296.

I would use four separate feedlines as each has varying needs of acceptable 
feedline loss.
