Hello to the VHF community....I am looking for a "dead" 6M1K2 or 2M1K2.
If you have one of those where the palette is gone, but the chassis
and/or power supply is still OK, please let me know. My thought is that
as an experiment, I could replace the palette with a 222 palette and
voila, I would have a 222 amp. I have a friend that will build up and
test the palettes, so it seems like a reasonable idea.
I don't want any that were "run over by a truck" or shot full of holes
during the latest bank robbery. They don't have to be perfect, but
something that is all beat up is not what I want.
If you are interested, in selling your carcass(amp carcass not yours),
let me know what you have and what price you think is realistic.
